Work at home job forums- Work at home forums are a great way for work at home moms to interact with other moms. I have found several leads just from engaging in conversations with other moms who found a fantastic work at home job or have heard of someone else getting a good gig. Sometimes posts that aren't even meant to distribute a lead have one. So scour every inch of the different work at home forums that you may come across to find new ideas, contacts and job leads.

Work at home classified sites- Work at home classified sites such as craigslist are also a good place to find leads to other work at home opportunities. You can create a folder of all of the leads you find or of the home pages of your favorite classified sites. These sites do not have to be just work at home sites, they can be popular newspapers also. Is Your Search Engine Listing A Bad Classified Ad?

If you have a website, I'm willing to bet you are interested in a top listing in search engines such as Google, Yahoo! and MSN/Bing. However, ranking at the top of the search engines is only a small part of the battle. Getting search visitors to click on your listing is something else all together.

Most local business owners should take the time to view their websites listings in the search engines as a first step in their internet marketing plan. Most local business owners don't know how the search engines display their search listing.

The best way to approach this is to use a search engine such as Google and perform the search, without the quotes;

"site:yourwebaddress.com"

Doing so will give you several insider details on how each of your pages are listed in Google; and especially if they are listed at all. If performing the search as stated above and your website pages are not listed you have a different problem all together and will require the assistance of an experienced webmaster to solve the issue of not being indexed at all.

When viewing all of your indexed pages (as shown by Google) do you feel as if your page titles are compelling? Are you page descriptions engaging and do they ask the reader to take action and click? Can you see that each listing is really just a glorified classified ad?

Is your search engine listing title a mish mash of keywords or worse yet your business name? If you're a local business most of your internet traffic is NOT searching for you by name so naming your page with your business name can be a waste of opportunity.

The truth is, well into the 90% range of websites online have very poor titles and descriptions when it comes to their search engine listings. An excellent first step for most website owners, especially local businesses is to re-title each of their web pages and re-write a compelling description that evokes the click from their most valued customers.

To find out if your page titles and descriptions work, imagine taking that exact same text and placing it in print as a classified ad. Would you pay to have that ad printed? Would readers be compelled to call you or look to you for your services? OR would they not have a clue as to what your ad or business is all about?

In the end, your search engine listing is a simple classified ad. If it reads well and asks the search visitor to click in a compelling way then you are on your way to a more effective website -- however if it drives your reader to read the next available ad then it certainly needs work. Thinking of your search engine listings as an effective classified ad can increase your online business exponentially.

What in the world does a virus have to do with marketing? Basically, Viral marketing is any strategy that encourages individuals to pass on a message to others, creating the potential for exponential growth in the message's exposure and influence. These strategies take advantage of rapid multiplication to explode the message to oodles and oodles of people.

The products, ideas, or concepts that spread in a viral way do so because they have intrinsic built in value to our market. With this built in value you don't need to do a ton of traditional marketing to get the word out. All you do is give the idea, product or concept away for free to a select few who will then carry the message to those they know and so forth.

There are two types of viral marketing according to Seth Godin. One type where the product or idea is spread in the suport of a cause and the other where the marketing actually is the product too. (Youtube, Hotmail).

But just because something goes viral does not mean its worthwhile and just because something is worthwhile does not mean its going to go viral.

The hardest part of this whole idea isn't getting getting something to go viral, its making the viral element actually valuable to the market and not just something cheesy and entertaining.

So often though we lose focus and sight of the goal in our rush to get something catchy out there. We skimp on the value and it turns out being average or selfish or boring. You have to plan for it from the beginning. You can't create a nice product and then decide to make it go viral.

Remember: viral marketing only works when you make a plan to implement it from the beginning. So do your best now to create something of great worth and then show it to your colleagues, even give to them for free to get them to understand its true value.

One that brings your profits and I'm going to show you step by step how it's done.

I've created this basic article information publishing outline based on cost to your prospects. For example, the first product that you publish can be offered free to the client to introduce them to your information. Later you can offer this same client more products -- and as they follow this infoproduct outline, the cost of each product increases and your profits grow. Best of all -- all of these items can be created with articles that you have sitting on your computer's hard drive!

Product 1 - Write a newsletter

This is a complimentary weekly or monthly information newsletter that delivers quick tips and information on your topic. It's important to do a good job with this because people will probably make a decision on whether or not to buy from you based on the quality of the information that you provide.

Product 2 - Write a traditional print book

Believe it or not, there is not a lot of money in publishing a print book. Maybe for Harry Potter and Twilight authors or President Barack Obama, but not for most. But what a print book can still do for you is provide credibility. Don't panic though - you can create a great book using articles.

Product 3 - Write an ebook or ecourse

Once you have several articles (at least 5-10) based around one particular topic, you can create an ebook or course that you can easily charge way more for than a traditional book. Think about the last infoproduct you bought? Did you pay for it then a supermarket paperback? The answer is probably - absolutely yes! People will pay more for specialized information. That's what an ebook or ecourse can do.

Product 4 - Home Study Course

Take your articles, audios, videos and organize them into a great multimedia home study course for your prospects. If your readers bought your lower end products, they are probably ready to learn a lot more from you and a home study course is a great way to do this. Again - you can create this system using content that you have already written. Think editing.

Product 5 - Build A Membership Program

All membership sites or programs are created with the first essential ingredient - content a.k.a. articles. You are simple delivering spoon-fed doses and holding members hands as they move through your program. I use this model in my article marketing training program - Articology. It's a great way to learn and a great way to build a community of "fans" who are interested in learning all that you deliver to them.

Product 6 - Weekend Workshop

Live events rock! Whether you have 5 people or 500. It's a great way to truly connect with your clients/members, and you can create the entire program around content that you already have written. Just flesh it out and add a few powerpoint presentations and you have the makings of a great money-making weekend.

*Optional Service - Coaching Programs

In traditional coaching, there becomes a relationship with client which is based around what kind of business or life that client wants to create. But some coaches also create a curriculum based type of coaching program. Where the clients are going to learn some aspect of their business (or all aspects of their business) through the use of content coupled with one-on-one coaching. What this essentially means is that you will coach the client through a curriculum or series of lessons that you create.

You also have the additional option of selling a hard copy of that curriculum once you no longer private coaching around that particular focus of your business.

Finally, while you may not be able to complete and execute all of these product ideas right away - you can for sure design your product pyramid based on your niche and commit to completing some of your products within that time frame.

**Remember that you do not have to drive yourself crazy creating new content to make all of these products on the pyramid. In fact, all of these products can be created from articles that you have already written and even published - fantastic huh?

Do you know the best day of the week and time to do your business email marketing and send your email newsletter? Have you ever wondered if your fellow newsletter marketers are all sending at the same time you do? Convinced your open rate is too low or even too high?

Some recent stats may help you answer these questions: What Kind of open rates Are email newsletter marketers getting and what kind of email newsletter software are they using. If you are sending HTML emails, you probably use your open rate to help rank your success. Even though its not a perfect gauge of whether people are actually opening and reading your emails, its useful as a relative measure: If it goes up over a small period of time, more people are probably reading If it falls over a short period of time, its almost certain fewer people are reading.

Also, all other things being equal, it can give you some motivation (if your open rates are less than other senders) or satisfaction (if your rates are more). So, here goes Average Open Rate this past Month: 13.6% So when is the best day to send?

You will often hear that Tuesday is the optimal day to send your email campaign, because on Monday people are catching up from the weekend, and that on Tuesday morning you will have their undivided attention before they jump into their work for the upcoming week. Those higher-volume days mean more emails in readers in boxes, which might contribute to reducing open rates. Following that reasoning, some people may look at the low weekend volume and see an opportunity to get their audiences undivided attention.

If you believe you can build your own optimization software, great for you. It is certainly possible, but it may cost you several hundred thousand dollars and take several years to" get it right". In this article, I'll discuss why Internet based marketing can give you a better return on your investment versus traditional, off-line marketing. Let's start with an example.

You go to your local newspaper and you tell them you want to place an ad. While there, you ask them how many readers they have or what are the circulation numbers - and they give you a round about number. You also ask, what the demographics are, and they give you a general answer, as they do not exactly know.

Then, let's say the place an ad in the classified section and then sit back and wait to see what happens. Now, to track this, you put a code on your website URL so you know exactly how many visitors you're getting from that one newspaper ad. With the phone number, you also include a code, so that you know where the calls are coming from.

You're also going to have to be patient. Your ad will go out in the next edition. Eventually, you'll start getting some calls and some additional traffic to your site. Compare this added interest with the cost for the advertisement. Say you got ten leads out of the ad, with the ad costing you about five dollars per visitor; this means your ad has cost you $50 in total.

With the above example, let's say that we make one sale. And of course, you may get other calls over the coming weeks. Oftentimes, people don't respond to a newspaper ad until a bit after it's run.

In the next example, let?s say you start a Pay per click campaign. Using this method, you research keywords that are relative to your product or service. You can get as targeted as you want, plus you can leave a few keywords in the broad category to see if there are other keywords you may be missing when trying to capture this market.

With pay per click, you ad is up and being viewed in minutes by millions of people using Google, in this example. Best of all, you only pay when people click on the link in your ad!Suppose that you pay a dollar per click and have a conversion rate of 2% - you will spend $50 per sale that you make.

Here, though, you can tell which keywords are converting to sales because you can use conversion tracking. Then, you can remove the keywords that aren't converting, so that your ad campaign is both more effective and more cost-efficient.

In addition, because you've also used broader keywords, you can see how many people are finding you with this "one size fits most" method. You can also place ads on other websites with exact demographic information, which will be extremely targeted to your business.

Google adwords ads or pay per click advertising must have caused more joy and gloom throughout the internet marketing world than just about anything else. The 'blues' are as the result of not organising a proper pay per click management strategy.

Market research,organising a list of relevant keywords, writing the ads and getting them uploaded to the web requires a lot of effort. If you do not have the right bidding plan in place it's at this point that you could begin to punch a large hole in the household finances.

So your ads are on display, but in what position and are you paying too much per click ?

I should make it clear that the following pay per click strategy is my own and I follow it every day. It works for me but I cannot say for certain that it will work for you in your market or that other strategies promoted by other marketers are not as good or better.

I like to start my ppc campaign with around 100 to 200 ad groups, each containing two ads and just one keyword phrase (minimum two words) in it's three forms. With two ads, you monitor the 'click through rate' of them both so that you can replace the poorest performing one. Your keyword must be the headline of your ad and where it is more than twenty five characters long it will be substituted with a suitable phrase you have ready. Keywords, as I mentioned, can be used in three formats, phrase - "keyword", exact - [keyword] and broad, which has nothing around it.

For my initial bid I enter two per cent of whatever I make on a sale - what does that mean exactly ? Lets take a situation where my profit on a sale is $30, two per cent of that is sixty cents - my opening bid.

Firstly go into your adwords account and select 'edit campaign settings'. I sell only to the major English speaking countries so, using the option at the foot of this page, I opt for the USA, Canada, The UK, Australia and New Zealand. Switch off the 'content' option, put the ads on 'rotate' and set your daily budget. Only you can decide how much this will be but please remember to multiply the amount you choose by thirty and be certain that you can easily afford that per month.

For ads to appear 'above the fold' they need to be in positions 1 to 5 usually, but I advise you not to aim for the top two spots, you will pay less and still get plenty of clicks in 3rd, 4th and 5th place. The techniques I use to get my ads in the right positions and at the right cost will be the subject of my next article.

Making good money by advertising using Google Adwords ads is possible but only with the right per per click management strategy.
